Hello and welcome

I am Annabelle, I am a lifestyle coach and nutritional mentor....

Being a certified Wellness Consultant for many years I get it... Most of us know what we should be doing for optimum health, but making that a reality can be overwhelmingly hard for many. Long working hours, social conditioning, addictive and emotional habits around food can all make this a far bigger issue than just following a set diet for a few weeks to make a change. I specialise in helping with the psychological, emotional and even addictive behaviours around food. I do not have a 'one size fits all' approach and offer many packages from fat loss, to muscle building to establishing a healthy relationship with food and intuitive eating. With Nutritional Coaching I aim to address the root cause of the issue (such as emotional eating), rather than just treat the symptom itself (such as being overweight). I also take a very holistic approach, hence I also offer personal training and other supporting services.

What is Nutritional Coaching?

This can be either a off-off month to get you started with the correct foundations (calorie/macronutrient targets/amounts etc) and in the future you can manage yourself or it can be an ongoing monthly service where I will be by your side throughout any major goal or preparation for a competition or event. It will usually consist of a consultation followed by unlimited calls/texts/emails throughout the month to ensure you receive full support, guidance and regular adjustments to diet as and where are required.

What is involved?

* An initial consultation to establish trigger foods, behavioural patterns, barriers to success etc.

* Weekly/fortnightly or monthly reviews to track progress and make adaptions to plan.

* Bespoke nutritional advice and guidelines * Identifying what is holding you back

* Macro-nutrient and calorie setting to provide a ‘flexible dieting approach’ (no one size fits all plan!!)

* Unlimited support and guidance for the month (can be utilised as a 'one-off' month or as an ongoing monthly plan for long term goals).

* Personal Training packages and training plans are also available at an additional cost.

About Me:

I am a lifestyle coach & nutritional mentor, specialising in body composition changes through diet and exercise. I aim to empower people who are tired of being at war with their bodies and who are ready to go from feeling tired, defeated and unhappy with their physiques to confident, energised and to find themselves again. I am sadly not one of those personal trainers who can eat whatever she likes and get away with it, nor am I naturally good at any sports!! I am obviously qualified to provide sports specific nutritional advice and competition prep, but more than that I have been through various weight loss plans prior to educating myself professionally and I fully understand the various psychological, emotional and even addictive behaviours that can contribute to weight gain and food issues. I do not subscribe to the ‘state the obvious camp’ who simply advise to eat less to lose weight. We all know that and surely if it was that simple no one would ever be overweight again? I aim to help people not only change their lifestyle, but more importantly actually learn to love this way of living.

I have been extremely overweight prior to doing this job years ago, however now I really enjoy lifting heavy weights; at times it has meant I have been very lean with a 6 pack and muscles, nowadays however I prefer a relaxed, balanced and intuitive approach to eating and will always choose chilled family meal times over a 'diet'.

I have my demons and still fall back on them occasionally but i have learnt my old way of living wasn't making me happy. If I didn't have to check in with you regularly no doubt they would have taken over... Having our calls and check ins provides a point of reference which makes me feel like i have to do better. I have been honest about the good and bad days, but the calorie help doesn't equate to the mental help you've given me. One day I will post a picture of me when I reach my goal and it will say how this woman overcame so much more than just trying to lose weight and i can tell people that even with depression you can overcome what is thrown at you. This day will be the best day for me and keeps me going

I first met Annabelle when she was a PT in my local gym, but due to being pregnant I left. I continued to follow her FB page as I was interested in her experience in post-natal health and nutrition. Do I need to regularly exercise in order to have nutritional coaching...

Not at all! Exercise is the first place most people start with when wishing to make a  change, however what we eat all day everyday makes a far bigger impact than a few hours of training each week. I have coached many people successfully who have been unable to exercise for health or mobility reasons.

I am a fussy eater, I am nervous about committing.... Will this be a problem?

No, you make your own food choices... Flexible dieting is in my opinion a far more sustainable, effective and enjoyable process compared to set meal plans.

I hate the gym but need to do something

That's fine, I have all the equipment you could need and provide home visits with the highest level of insurance.
